INTA Global Report September 2017 takes stock of the many, many initiatives the legal community has taken around the world to enhance the protection of intellectual property, inculcate IP knowledge and spread the message of IP.
We are pleased to have contributed our bit to help inculcate IP awareness in India:
- Making IP Fun for the Next Generation – On World IP Day 2017 Madhu Rewari talks to and engages school students in exercises to explain what intellectual property actually means.
- IPR enforcement workshop for Kolkata Police – Saif Khan and Manish Biala speak at a workshop on ‘Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in India’, providing practical know-how for police officers in training, organised by CIPAM.
- Spending a morning talking to children about invention – Madhu Rewari and Geetanjali Visvanathan spend time interacting with students at Kendriya Vidyalayas in Delhi introducing intellectual property rights.
Anand and Anand also hosted INTA President, Joe Ferretti, CEO, Etienne Sanz de Acedo, and INTA India representative Gauri Kumar at an overwhelming gathering that was the INTA Pre-Annual Meeting Reception, in New Delhi.
