Dr Ajai Garg, the head of Digital Group at Anand and Anand, talks about ways to curb the menace of DeepFake on The Newshour Agenda on TimesNow. Mincing no words to stress on the responsibility of intermediaries to check the fake contents being hosted on their platforms. Dr Garg says it is time to remove the veneer of Safe Harbour.

In response to queries from Executive Editor Madhavdas Gopalakrishnan, Dr Garg cites the Anil Kapoor Deepfake matter where Team Anand and Anand engendered a John Doe order to bring the internet platforms to do their bit to check the menace of deepfakes violating the personality rights of the actor.
