With over 15 years of experience, Nupur is a patent lawyer practicing in the fields of biotechnology, immunology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, food technology, nutraceuticals and other allied areas. She offers strategic advice in patent drafting, filing, prosecution and in contentious patent matters. She is extensively involved in pre-grant and post-grant contentious proceedings, appeals and patent revocation matters. Her experience in patent infringement suits and invalidity actions provides the perspective for robust prosecution. She is also involved in patent search and analysis including freedom to operate, validity, patentability and infringement analysis and advises clients on biodiversity and traditional knowledge issues.
Prior to commencing her career in intellectual property, she had a short stint with an Indian pharmaceutical company.
